Next year in April I will be transforming the Subtext Gallery into a concept space featuring my artwork. Over the past few days, I have been planning out the exhibition and creating new sketches in preparation. “Mobil ME” is the latest sketch and please email me if you are interested in this piece, or work posted earlier in the week.
And now, a brief overview about next year’s exhibition:
“Plug ME,” will feature watercolors, paintings, drawings and sculptures by San Diego fine artist/designer/publisher Mark Murphy on August 15, 2010 at the Subtext Gallery in San Diego. “Plug ME” takes an imaginative look at political and corporate decisions that seemingly have sprung a leak. Hoping to minimize the damage, Mark’s other worldly creatures look for answers, searching out micro resolutions to bung up the problem.
