Mark Todd : ULTRA : Tax Me Zines

Comic-Con in San Diego is fun and exhausting bundled into one oversized cape crusader fan who lives off of Doritos and Mountain Dew for five days straight. Booth 4833 will be a great time, although I hope to pull off designing banners to attract people to our booth in time. Jeff Soto and I will be offering original artwork, sketches and mini zines this year. Max242 will be joining us through the event and will be releasing new vinyl and zines, along with Jeff who has partnered up with xxx and will have his and Travis Louie’s on display to get you thinking about the possibilities of collecting these in the very near future.

And then there is this kid, Mark Murphy, who put together a no sleep week, just in time to keep the no sleep month into play. First i would like to introduce three new 4 1/4" x 6" mini zines that are each 24 pages in length and beautifully printed in full-color.

Mark Todd’s mini zine is wall to wall color with an inspired cast of SuperHero goodness that was a joy to design. In fact, I had so much fun, there were 3 total zines put together including: Tax Me, ULTRA (featuring Tim Mantoani and Joel Nakamura), and of course Mark Todd.

Mark Todd's original painting is also featured at the Scribble.08 exhibition. Sweet times and thanks for supporting the arts. Jamaica Winship helped out with the copy featured on the pages, nice work Tex.
