Winter eclipse is on deck tonight and in celebration, homage and awe a new painting. The eclipse will blot out the moon at 1:32 EST (weather permitting and at 10:32 pm PST) today. The moon will turn a rusty orange color for a little over an hour. So look up into the sky and check out the eclipse. And for all you lunar calendar lovers, this is the first lunar eclipse to fall on the winter solstice since 1638. Pretty sweet. Happy holidays.
