Recently, I traveled to the frozen tundra of Minneapolis to visit my girlfriend Tasha Rae. Tasha’s company, Tasha Rae Jewelry is a great jewelry design company that specializes in one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces and designer accessories. Lucky for me, we’re collaborating on a premier line of silver jewelry for “Plug Me” taking place April 15 at Subtext in San Diego.
Tasha’s initial roughs were based on a series of sketches that I am putting together for the show. The first couple of pieces were roughed out to give you a sneak peek of signature forms that will transform into sliver earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I can’t wait, as “Plug Me” will feature a diverse presentation— paintings, drawings, block prints and now—collector jewelry. Thanks Tasha Rae Jewelry for translating drawings into precious metal.
